Our client’s gaming team represents some of the largest and most established gaming and betting businesses in the world, who operate both in the online and land-based gaming sector.  The team also acts for numerous smaller, fast-growing gaming companies. Our specialist gaming lawyers provide a fully integrated IP/IT, regulatory, licensing, corporate and commercial contracts service.  They operate a worldwide international service which involves our partner law firms located in most key jurisdictions.

Our clients involvement in the TV and entertainment sector also means that they have expertise in the licensing of media content for use in both online and land-based gaming.

The Role

The Commercial team is looking for a Gaming and Betting Solicitor to join the team.

The successful candidate will be 3+ years PQE with a strong working knowledge and understanding of the gaming sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with operators, distributors, game designers, sports betting companies, casino owners’ operators and/or investors.

We are looking for a commercially astute individual who is adept at providing proactive and practical advice to clients. The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking individual whose attitude and approach are as important as previous experience.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 3+ years PQE
  • Knowledge and understanding of the gaming sector
  • Experience of drafting complex contractual documentation
  • Sound technical ability
  • Practical and commercial
  • Strong IT skills
  • Enjoys networking and business development
  • Personable and confident
